have become the newest faces of Party Pieces – the business run by Kate Middleton’s mum Carole. Fans can now see the five teenagers including Harry Styles, 19, on paper plates or balloons at kiddies’ parties. The Party Pieces website says: “We are VERY excited to announce that One Direction have arrived at Party Pieces.” Appreciative tributes have appeared online including one from mum Becky Thompson on Facebook. The mum posted her thanks for her six-year-old daughter’s birthday cake which is decorated with marzipan versions of the fab five sitting on top. The deal with 1D’s management to use their faces is the latest smart move by ex-air hostess Carole, 58, and husband Michael, 62, who started Party Pieces in 1987. Carole said: “I hoped to inspire other mothers to create magical parties and to make party organising a little easier.” The party mail order business boomed and allowed the Middletons to live a comfortable life in rural Berskshire. It saw a major surge in interest following Kate’s engagement to Wills and is now estimated to be worth £30million. Mirror
