wiki iTunes Kendall Jenner appears to be a better fit for unscripted television than live awards shows. The up-and-coming runway model had trouble introducing Australian boy band 5 Seconds of Summer at the Billboard Music Awards this Sunday, and the results were comical/cringeworthy. It seemed like she almost referred to the group "One Direction," before stopping herself mid-sentence. "And now we welcome..." she said before taking a long pause, "...One..." Seemingly embarrassed by the mistake, Jenner kneeled over and laughed. As she tried to regain her composure, she admitted, "Guys, I'm the worst reader!" She never actually uttered 5 Seconds of Summer's name, but continued with the rest of the script. There could have been a couple reasons for her flub. The script was a bit tricky: It used part of One Direction's name (i.e., the word "direction") in its description of 5 Seconds of Summer, a group that's part of the boy-band trend spearheaded by 1D and the Wanted. Jenner seemed to get confused by the line, "But the direction they're heading is straight up," and made her mistake shortly afterwards Twitter Facebook SoundCloud
