Twin Forks "Whatever makes the audience stomp their feet and sing at the top of their lungs, that's what I want to be doing," says Carrabba of the band's debut album, adding that he tried to bring something a little harder to the band's sound on their debut album. "I thought, why can't I combine this punk and hardcore feeling with this classic folk feeling - because they were both such massive loves of mine. But right now i'm more excited about utlizing the age-old, time-tested thing and trying to excel within the parameters of a traditional template." Carrabba's distinctive drawl gives Twin Forks a harder edge than many of their contemporaries, and his rock and roll style even toughens up the soft sounds of a banjo on tracks such as 'Cross My Mind' and 'Scraping Up The Pieces', while the likes of 'Come On' are dreamy campfire ballads. The band release their debut album on 17 March 2014, but are streaming the album online in full. Listen to Twin Forks
