Damon Albarn has confirmed that Blur are working on their eighth studio album. Despite previously denying claims of another LP, Albarn has now confessed they will start making new music together again soon. Speaking on stage at the AsiaWorld-Expo, he stated: "We have a week in Hong Kong, and we thought it would be a good time to try and record another record." The album follows their last album Think Tank - which was released in 2003 - before they made their return to the stage in 2009. Last July, Blur unveiled two brand new tracks Under The Westway and The Puritan on Twitter, with Albarn previously stating that he was "excited" about playing the songs to their fans (MTV).
