Queens of the Stone Age might get its first No. 1 album in U.S. Industry sources suggest the group's new release, "… Like Clockwork," may sell around 80,000 copies by the end of the tracking week on Sunday, June 9. The album hit retailers on Tuesday, June 4. If "Clockwork" launches with 80,000, that should be enough to bump Daft Punk's "Random Access Memories" from the top slot, where it's been for the past two weeks. The new Billboard 200 chart's top 10 will be revealed on the morning of Wednesday, June 12. Queens of the Stone Age's last studio effort, 2007's "Era Vulgaris," debuted and peaked at No. 14 off a 52,000 start, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The new album is its first for Matador Records, following four studio releases with Interscope. The band's highest charting album so far is 2005's "Lullabies to Paralyze," which topped out at No. 5. The new set features guest turns from Elton John, Trent Reznor, Dave Grohl and Scissor Sisters' Jake Shears.Billboard Other albums aiming for significant debuts on next week's Billboard 200 include Sleeping With Sirens' "Feel," the City and the Colour's "The Hurry and the Harm," Megadeth's "Super Collider" and Disclosure's "Settle." Sleeping With Sirens should be the second-biggest bow of the week, with perhaps 60,000.
